Some websites do not have an active connection with the server, so they will not use the NoExit feature when downloading applications. Such websites can be able to use the NoExit service as well. The first step to download is to go to your Internet browser and navigate to a website that has an active connection with the server. For example, if you need to download an application from Windows XP you will want to open the Control Panel, then Click Security, and then click Turn Off Server Protection.
Once the website is turned off, the server protection will no longer be required on the website. This can allow Windows XP to run as fast as it would without the protection. To fix this, go to the Add/Remove Programs window, then go to "Add Windows Features" and then select "NoExit". Click Next, then select your Windows Version, then click Finish.
After installing the NoExit Service you can then download any application. If you're not sure what kind of application you are trying to download, you can type the name of the application into the search box at the top right corner of the screen, then type it into the box. You can then choose the "Download"Save As" option and click on a program for which you have the appropriate permission, or click the "Add/Remove Programs" button in the control panel window.
